THE HIGH school that a much-loved teenager attended has shared an emotional tribute after her tragic death at Carr Mill Dam.
The St Helens community was rocked last week after it was announced that the emergency services had recovered the body of a teenager from the Dam on Thursday, June 1.
After a huge search operation, it was later confirmed that the person recovered was 15-year-old Erin Madden, a pupil at Outwood Academy in Haydock.

Following the tragedy, rafts of tributes were posted online to the much-loved teenager while dozens of flowers were left at the scene of the Dam.
As pupils returned to school this week after their half-term break, the principal of Outwood Academy in Haydock has also shared a tribute to the "fantastic" student with an "amazing sense of humour".
The tribute also confirms that those affected by the incident will be able to receive counselling or support at the school.
In a letter to parents and carers, Phil Abram said: "As a school community, we are devastated by the loss of one of our students, Erin Madden.
"Erin was a kind and considerate student. She had an amazing sense of humour and was strong and loyal to those around her.
"Erin was ambitious and keen to do well in her studies. Such a tragedy is hard to comprehend and our whole community is mourning the loss of a caring and fantastic young lady.
"Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Erin’s family and friends at this difficult time.
"The school is working closely with the local authority and our Academy Trust to provide support to students and staff following this sad news.
"For anyone returning to school next week trained counsellors and staff will be available from Monday for all students to access.
"Outwood Academy Haydock will come together to remember and commemorate Erin."
