TRIBUTES have been paid to a “fun-loving, kind and generous” man who served a community as a milkman for decades.

William Din, who died aged 66, had been a milkman in the Parr area and was a well-known and popular figure in the community.

William worked as a ‘milk lad’ from the age of nine as a helper and continued throughout his schooldays.

He then had his own business from 1981, and worked until 2017, in Parr and surrounding areas.
