POLICE were called after a large fight broke out in Prescot town centre.
Officers attended in the early hours of Sunday, May 20, following reports of an "altercation".
Residents reported seeing a disturbance and police in attendance, around the areas of Eccleston Street, Aspinall Street, Warrington Road and St Helens Road.
Police said "a large group of men and women" were reportedly fighting in the area.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "At around 12.20am on Sunday, May 21, we received a report of an altercation in Prescot town centre.
"It was reported that a large group of men and women were fighting on St Helens Road.
"Officers attended and no injuries were reported."
