A BOY has been taken to hospital after falling from a bike this afternoon (Monday).
North West Ambulance attended Hard Lane on Monday, shortly before 3.30pm.
A teenage boy was taken to hospital after he suffered a "head injury", an ambulance spokesman said.
The North West Ambulance spokesman said: "We were called to report that a child had fallen from their bicycle at 3.27pm.
"We’ve taken a teenage boy to hospital with a head injury."
