A MAN has been sentenced following an assault at a property.
Police attended a house in Blackbrook, last week on Wednesday, May 10 following a report of a concern for safety.
A 38-year-old suspect was arrested by officers.
Gareth Paladino, of Admiral Street, Liverpool, was later charged with assault in connection with the incident.
He was convicted in court on Tuesday and was sentenced.
Paladino, 38, was handed an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for one year.
A restraining order was also imposed.

In a statement, Merseyside Police said: "A man has been sentenced following an assault at a house on Wednesday, May 10.
"At around 11.20pm we received a report of concern for safety at a property.
"Officers later arrested a 38-year-old man from Liverpool in the area on suspicion of assault.
"Gareth Paladino, aged 38, of Admiral Street in Liverpool was charged with assault.
"On Tuesday, May 16, Paladino was sentenced to eight weeks imprisonment suspended for one year and issued a restraining order."
