A WOMAN was found dead at Stadt Moers Park in Whiston yesterday.
A large police presence including paramedics and an air ambulance was reported by residents around the park and Paradise Lane area yesterday afternoon.
Merseyside Police have confirmed that the emergency services were called to reports of a concern for the safety of a woman, at around 12.15pm on Monday, May 15.
Officers found a woman in her 50s at the park, but she was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics.
Her death is being treated as non-suspicious, and a report is being prepared for the Coroner’s Office.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "Merseyside Police can confirm emergency services were called to a concern for safety of a woman in Whiston on Monday, May 15.
"At around 12.15pm we received a report of a concern for safety of a woman in her 50s in Stadt Moers Park.
"She was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics and her death is being treated as non-suspicious.
"A report is being prepared for the Coroner’s Office."
