POLICE were called to an estate after reports of a loud noise and a window being broken.
Officers said they were alerted after a "loud bang" was heard in Sutton late on Tuesday night.
Police attended and discovered a porch window had been broken at a property on Ridgewood Drive.
A maroon car was seen being driven away from the area.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We received a report of a broken window at an address on Ridgewood Drive in Sutton on Tuesday, May 9.
"At around 11.30pm it was reported that a loud bang was heard and a porch window had been broken. A maroon car was seen driving away. No injuries were reported.
"Officers attended and searched the area."
