A CROWN Court date has been set for a woman charged after an alleged stabbing in Newton-le-Willows.
The Star reported after a woman was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent following an alleged incident in the early hours of Friday, April 14.
Police said it was reported that a man in his 30s has been stabbed on Southworth Road.
He was taken to hospital and was treated for his injuries which police said were not life-threatening.

Police cordons were put in place outside a property on Southworth Road and the nearby Esso petrol station on Mill Lane, after the alleged incident.
Forensic officers were also in attendance.
Amanda Valerie Wilkie, of Southworth Road, Newton-le-Willows, was charged with wounding with intent in connection with the incident.
Wilkie, 43, made a first appearance at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court.
The case was sent to Liverpool Crown Court, where Wilkie is next due to appear on Monday, May 15.
She has been granted conditional bail until then.
