THREE people have been charged following reports of a robbery at a property in St Helens this week.
Police have reported that a man in his 50s was the victim of a robbery at his home on Tolver Street, close to St Helens town centre, at around 7.30pm on Tuesday, April 18.
Following an investigation into the robbery, which is defined as the taking or attempting to take anything of value by force, threat of force, or by use of fear, officers arrested three suspects.

Officers have confirmed that three people have since been charged in relation to the incident.
Wesley Powell, 22, of no fixed address; Cassandra Shaw, 36, of Charles Street, St Helens; and Chelsea Stanley, 27, of Silkstone Close, St Helens, have each been charged with robbery and three counts of fraud.
All three have been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton and St Helens Adult Remand Court today (Thursday, April 20).
