A TEENAGER suffered serious injuries following a “large scale fight” between youths.
The violence broke out in an alleyway near Miller Court in Prescot yesterday (Tuesday April 18.
At about 5.45pm, police received a report that 20 youths were fighting.
Two teenage boys sustained facial injuries.
One was assessed by paramedics at the scene while the other was taken to hospital for treatment for what police say are “serious but non-life threatening injuries”.
The group of youths were described as wearing all black clothing, with some on pedal bikes.
Inspector Mark Berry said: “This violent incident appears to have involved a group of around 20 youths and we are determined to find those involved.
“We will not tolerate this type of behaviour in our community and an investigation is ongoing. If you have any information that could assist our enquiries, please get in touch."
