MOTORISTS involved in a crash between a car and a van at a junction on the East Lancs avoided injury, North West Ambulance has said.
A collision took place between a car and a van on the A580 at its junction with Kenyons Lane, Haydock, on Friday evening, April 14.
Police said they received a report of the crash just after 7.30pm.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We received a report of a road traffic collision between a car and a van on East Lancashire Road/Kenyons Lane at around 7.35pm on Friday, Apri 14."
When asked by the Star, a North West Ambulance spokesman said that they did not need to attend the incident and "no injuries" were suffered in the collision.
