WASTE collections will continue as normal on Good Friday but will be affected on Easter Monday.
With the long Easter Bank Holiday weekend to look forward to, there’s always that little bit of confusion in households about recycling and waste collections.
However, St Helens Council say that there is no need to anxiously wait to see when your neighbours put their bins out.

Bin collections are planned to continue as normal on Good Friday, April 7.
Crews will not be working on Easter Monday, April 10. That week’s collections will roll over to Tuesday, April 11 and collected one day later, with the service operating up to and including Saturday, April 15.
Collections will then resume as normal from Monday, April 17.
The council recently proposed a shake-up to the borough's waste recycling system, which would see the provision of "enhanced" recycling containers and associated distribution across the borough, and up to 10 replacement recycling collection vehicles.
The easiest way to check your collection dates is to enter your postcode online at the council's website here.
