THREE years ago our lives completely changed when the first UK lockdown was announced.
To mark that day, today, Wednesday, March 22 is named as the National Day of Reflection.
St Helens reacted as it often does in a crisis, our community rallied together.
As we tried to protect the most vulnerable in our society and faced up to unprecedented restrictions toy our lives, young and old came together to support those in need.
As we remember those we have lost to the covid pandemic, we reflect on our front pages from the time, reflecting too on our brave key workers, our incredibly kind community and how together we did what we could in a global crisis.
