AN accident on the M62 this morning (Wednesday, March 23) has caused eastbound congestion.
Traffic was stopped for around five minutes on the motorway just before Junction 7 A57 Warrington Road (Rainhill Stoops) with queing traffic going back to Junction 6 (M57 Trabock Island).
As of 8am all lanes eastbound have now been reopened with congestion still being reported in the area and a waiting time of around 20 minutes.
