A YOUNG woman said she was left feeling shaken after being followed by two cars while walking home from a shop.
Chloe Louise Turner said she was walking home from Bargain Booze on Fleet Lane, in Parr, on Wednesday evening, March 15 when the "distressing" incident happened.
She said she initially noticed the driver of a black BMW pap the horn to gain her attention and then follow her.
'It left me feeling anxious'
"At the traffic lights on Fleet lane, a BMW car was in the traffic and he papped his horn at me, looking for my attention," said Chloe.

"Then I got to the end of Rigsfold Drive, I noticed the black car BMW turning into the street.
"So I ran quickly to my sister's. My sister watched it on the Ring doorbell, I have the footage.
"I noticed both vehicles follow me as I rewatched the video over and over and then they both left the street near enough at the same time.
"As I rewatched the video over and over then they both left the street near enough at the same time."
Chloe, 22, added: "I’ve been feeling really uneasy, anxious and my heart pounding and overthinking about it all and can’t seem to rest my head about it.
"I’d like to warn others about these two vehicles that followed me last night."
What police have said
When asked about the incident, a Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We can confirm that inquiries are being made after a report of suspicious circumstances in St Helens on Wednesday night, March 15.
"At around 11.30pm, a woman reported that she was allegedly followed by two cars on Fleet Lane, leaving her distressed. The cars reportedly drove off after she entered an address.
"The incident is believed to have occurred at 7.50pm and was reported later."
He added: "Officers have spoken to the woman to offer reassurance and inquiries are ongoing.
