SHOE Zone opened its doors in Church Square Shopping Centre on Friday after closing doors on the Hardshaw Centre site.
The footwear retailer has taken over the ex-Perfect Home unit, having relocated from the Hardshaw Centre due to its closure.
Shoe Zone is one of many brands that has relocated to Church Square, including Bon Marche and Select.
Steve Brogan, Centre Manager for Church Square Shopping Centre, said: “We are beyond excited to have Shoe Zone here at Church Square, welcoming shoppers to their brand new store. Shoe Zone have something for everybody and will fit in perfectly.”
Anthony Smith, Shoe Zone Chief Executive added: “We’re looking forward to opening this new Shoe Zone store in Church Square, widening the selection of styles for our customers and making both branded and our own brand styles more easily accessible to them.”
The closure of the Hardshaw Centre will see a huge change in the looks of St Helens town centre and is a major part of the regeneration plans of St Helens town centre.
As well as many vendors moving to Church Square Shopping Centre, others, such as Waterfields have moved to St Helens Retail Park and others such as The Country Kitchen which is set to close it’s doors permanently on March 31.
