A MUM-OF-TWO who has struggled with serious mental health problems said that opening a sweet business with her partner has "saved her life".
Diagnosed with OCD, PTSD, mixed personality disorder, and anxiety and depression, Beth Greaves, from Windle, said that she has been locked in a constant mental health battle over the past few years.
In the attempt to break this cycle and provide a financial boost during the cost of living crisis, Beth's partner Tim suggested the idea of starting their own business together.

Settling on the concept of a sweet delivery business that they could do from home, 'Greavesy's Tuck Shop' was launched in October and got off to a flying start as it was promoted to the tens of thousands of followers on Beth's TikTok profile.
Beth, 23, said: "I haven't been able to work due to struggling so much with my mental health, so the lease of life this business has given me is phenomenal.
"The sweets are something totally different to a general job as I can work my own hours and it works around our children and family life.
"I have managed to break the cycle of my mental health battles and I feel like this has saved my life."
After constantly selling out of their sweet-toothed products, Beth and Tim hoped to expand the business and open their own physical Tuck Shop in St Helens.
However, as they have been earning money through the TikTok platform, much of this money has been locked in a seller probation period and other sales have only reached the family a few weeks after the initial transaction.
So as the growing business is stuck at home with limited funds, Beth and Tim have been asking for support to keep the business afloat until they can access their initial earnings and afford the rent and deposit for their first shop unit.
Beth added: "It has been difficult as we found a property that we saw as the vision for our future, and started making so many plans around it.
"But when something like this happens it’s like everything you’ve dreamt has been ripped away from you."
Seeing how beneficial the tuck shop has been for Beth's mental health, her friends have set up an online fundraiser to try and help her sustain the business.
Beth added: "I’ve always been terrible at everything I’ve done in life and this feels like it’s the only good thing that’s come from it.
"If I was to say to my 16-year-old self that I was going to be a business owner at 23 with two healthy children and a loving, supporting husband, I would’ve never believed you.
"I didn’t even think I’d make it to 18 but here I am; it shows that you can overcome anything."
