POLICE are investigating allegations a teenage boy was assaulted as he walked home from school.
The incident allegedly happened as the youngster was near Victoria Park, Cowley Hill on Monday.
There have been reports a number of boys were involved in the alleged assault close to the park's entrance with Bishop Road.

Detectives are trying to establish what happened and have appealed for witnesses.
In a statement, Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm that an investigation is ongoing following the assault of a teenage boy in St Helens on Monday, February 27.
"At around 3.40pm, a third-party report was received of a 14-year-old boy being assaulted in Victoria Park, close to the entrance at Bishop Road.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances and anyone with information is asked to contact @MerPolCC with reference 23000170872."
