TWO men who were arrested as police seized £400,000 of cigarettes and cash following a stop check have been bailed.
Officers stopped a Vauxhall Vectra at around 8.40pm on Tuesday night, February 28, which was seen driving erratically on Gorsey Lane after it was initially sighted on Helena Road.
Following a search of the vehicle, a large quantity of suspected drugs were seized. Two men were detained and arrested.

A subsequent search of a premises led to around £50,000 of cash and an estimated £400,000 of cigarettes being seized.
A 29-year-old man, from Burtonwood, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving; possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and cocaine; and acquire/use/possess criminal property.
Meanwhile, a 33-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine.
Both men were taken to custody for questioning by detectives.
A Merseyside Police spokesman has confirmed that both men have been released on conditional bail pending further inquiries.
