BILLINGE-BORN Carley Stenson said she has been "blown away" by messages from fans after she exited Dancing on Ice.
Mum-of-one Carley, who found fame on Hollyoaks before getting big roles on the West End stage, joined ten other celebrities taking to the ice in the live ITV show last month.
Wowing judges and audiences with her variety of skating routines, the actress was hovering around the top of the leaderboard for six weeks of the competition.

However, finding herself in a skate-off with The Wanted singer Siva Kaneswara last weekend, Carley revealed that she had injured herself to presenter Philip Scholfield and danced her final routine in pain.
After pro skating partner Mark Hanretty indicated that an injured shoulder had to be popped back in, an emotional Carley was left in tears as the judges chose to send her home over Siva.
Taking to social media to give an update on her condition, Carley shared an emotional message to her fans and also showed a picture of her bruised leg.
Carley said: "Im blown away by messages. I’m slowly getting through them all but just wanna say THANKYOU.
"Im home ... not unpacked physically or emotionally ... straight into CT scan and birthday celebrations.
"It is dislocated with a small tear so no movement for me.
"As long as I can cuddle and she’s happy I don’t mind.
"Will be back soon."
Following Carley's exit from the dancing competition, her social media pages were inundated with messages of congratulations and hopes that she can recover quickly from her injury.
There was also some shock in the Billinge mum's exit as her impressive performances made her one of the favourites to win the competition.
Another social media post from Carley thanked her dancing partner and all of those who rallied around her.
It read: "If I was to write how much love and admiration I have for this man..your thumb will fall off from scrolling
"I’m full of emotions still and will be more literate in time I'm sure. Quite raw and overwhelmed. But I’ll just leave this here for now and say THANKYOU."
