AN AWARD-WINNING beautician has been celebrating the launch of her new town centre salon after ten years of working in St Helens.
Always having a passion for nails and beauty, Dominika Jedrzejczak, from Poland, began a mobile nail technician business after she moved to St Helens ten years ago.
Without fluent English skills, Dominika said that her new business initially only had Polish-speaking clients, but she began gaining a respectable reputation and opened up a salon on West Street, in Thatto Heath, last year.
Following the success of her first salon and winning awards at Hair and Beauty Awards, the mum-of-one took the leap to launch her first business in the town centre, 'Golden Beauty', on College Street earlier this month.

Dominika said: "At Golden Beauty, we offer a high standard of professional beauty, from nails and hair as well as facial and body treatments.
"The people in St Helens have been amazing as I started off only with Polish-speaking clients, but now I've had the opportunity to open a salon in the town centre and attract more people.
"Everyone is so nice to work with at the salon, and we really try to show people the importance of beauty and working to a high standard."
Following the launch of the town centre salon, Dominika said she hopes to start training courses from 'Golden Beauty' so that residents can do their own nails or teach others to a high standard.
Dominika also sells her own beauty products from her new salon which she says adds to her high standard of working.
