A TWENTY-FOUR-YEAR-OLD man has denied sexually assaulting a woman at a park.
Police said that at about 1.35pm on Monday, February 13, they received a report that a woman in her 50s was walking into Sutton Park when she was approached and sexually assaulted.
A suspect was arrested and later charged in connection with the allegation.

Ehssan Delawar, 24, pleaded not guilty to a charge of sexual assault when he appeared before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates’ Court on Friday, February 17.
Delawar, of no fixed address, also denied two charges of using threatening behaviour under the Public Order Act. He also pleaded not guilty to assault by beating.
The 24-year-old was remanded into custody and is due to appear for a short hearing at the court on Friday, February 24.
A summary trial has been earmarked for April 5 and 6 this year.
