It is illegal to drive quad bikes on the road unless they are approved, registered, taxed and have an MOT to be used on the road.
You do not need a driving licecne to drive a quad bike off-road, and many are not safe to be used on roads because they do not meet road safety standards.
Police ask residents to contact them regarding illegal use of vehicles, either online through their website and social media or by ringing 101.
