ALTHOUGH Saints fans will be primarily turning out on Friday night to show their support for Mark Percival’s testimonial – they will also get what is probably a final chance to say farewell to another club stalwart at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
Popular Cumbrian prop Kyle Amor is sure to get a rousing cheer when he runs out in the opposing colours of Widnes ranks on Friday night.
Amor left Saints last May, midway through his ninth season in the red vee after chalking up 211 appearances and being part of the side that won four Super League titles and a Challenge Cup.
Now plying his trade with the Vikings, the 35-year-old is enjoying his swansong in the Championship – but, barring a meet-up in the Challenge Cup, this will be his chance to run out on the TWS he graced from 2014 onwards.

Amor’s presence will be enjoyed by Saints players and fans alike – and he is sure to get a loud reception.
Coach Paul Wellens said: “I am sure a lot of the lads are looking forward to going out there playing against Kyle and I am sure they will have some fun against each other.
“Kyle spent just shy of 10 years at the club and is obviously having his own RFL testimonial going on at the moment.
“He’s a stalwart of the game and a great servant to St Helens in his time here and a huge part of the success we had here over the last few years.
“A lot of lads still have a friendship with Kyle and he is a very well liked member of the group.
“It is going to be fun out there, coming up against Kyle – I am he may have a few tricks up his sleeve.”
Friday’s game between Saints and Widnes kicks off at 8pm.
