CREWS were called to a fire at a bus stop on Sunday evening.
Firefighters attended the Rainford bypass shortly after 7.15pm on Sunday, January 8.
A plastic sign in a bus stop was on fire and crews used a hose reel jet to put this out.

A spokeswoman said: "Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called to the Rainford Bypass on Sunday, January 8.
"Crews were alerted at 7.16pm and on scene at 7.22pm. One fire engine attended.
"On arrival crews found one plastic sign in a bus stop involved in fire.
"Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and left the scene at 7.27pm."
