A SUSPECT has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a 17-year-old in a crash on one of the town’s main roads.
Brandon Glover appeared before Liverpool Crown Court this morning, Friday, for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
This relates to an incident which happened at the junction of Park Road and Boardmans Lane in Blackbrook at around 12.30am on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
Harley Lea, 17, died in a crash which involved a car and two motorbikes. Two other men who were injured in the incident were taken to hospital.

Brandon Glover, of Pasture Close in Clock Face, was arrested in relation to the incident and subsequently charged with murder, as well as eight other charges.
The 24-year-old appeared in court this morning via videolink from HM Prison Altcourse, wearing a green t-shirt.
Further charges
He entered not guilty pleas to all nine counts relating to five alleged victims.
As well as murder, he is also charged with manslaughter, the particulars being that he unlawfully killed Harvey Lea.
Two counts he faces are of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent towards two other men.
A further two are of attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm with intent to a further two males.
Two counts are of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, on Park Road using a Toyota Corolla, of two men.
A final charge is of causing the death by dangerous driving of Harley Lea, again on Park Road using a Toyota Corolla.
Trial date set
Glover is due to stand trial over all charges on March 13, which was fixed by judge Nicholas Barker before he adjourned the hearing.
A large number of tributes were laid on the pavement near to the scene of the incident in the days that followed.
Residents also left bouquets of flowers, candles and blue balloons tied to the railings bearing messages.
