NOTHING summed up Michael Smith's World Darts Championship Final win over Michael van Gerwen more than the nine darter he rattled off on the way to winning the second set.
What made it even more remarkable was that van Gerwen himself had just missed out on his double to complete the feat when Smith struck.
It was needed at the time with Smith having lost the opening set and it put the St Helens man back in the game.
It is only the second ever nine-darter in final history and is being hailed as the best leg of darts ever by adicianados of the sport.
This is how it happened.
THE BEST LEG OF ALL TIME! 🤯🔥
