A CATHOLIC church in Newton-le-Willows has been forced to temporarily relocate its masses due to heating issues.
St Patrick’s Church, on Marian Avenue, has been a place of worship for many in the community, however, the church has now decided to move its Sunday masses to a different premises until further notice whilst the issue is resolved.
It is reported that the building is in need of a new heating system, with current heating installed in the church unable to beat the ongoing cold weather.

It is said that a meeting will be held to discuss the future of the church, however, St Patrick's Church currently remains open.
Sunday masses will now take place at St Patrick’s Social Centre whilst heating problems at the church are resolved.
