TWO people are believed to have stolen money from a man's wallet after helping him up from a fall on the ice.
On the evening of Saturday, December 17, it has been reported that a man in his 50s slipped on the icy grass on Cooper Street, opposite the Turks Head pub.
A man and a woman are reported to have gone to his aid, and are suspected to have taken cash from his wallet after helping him get to his feet.
The victim's daughter said that the pair asked him for money "to help the homeless" before the suspected theft took place.
