On stopping the vehicle, officers conducted a roadside drug wipe on the driver and passenger.
The pair are reported to have both failed the drugs test, and upon further inspection, officers discovered "numerous wraps of suspected cocaine" in the car.
The pair were arrested and spent the night in custody.
