The rating reflects the standards of food hygiene found on the date of the inspection by the local authority.
It is the fourth food establishment (takeaways, restaurants, or cafes to be handed the low hygiene rating in the borough.
Fingerpost Pizzeria, The Barn at Fir Tree Farm, and Tony's The Spicy Chicken all have the one-out-of-five rating on the Food Standards Agency website.
The assessment at Samarah Balti found that improvement is necessary for the cleanliness and condition of the building, and the management of food safety.
No St Helens takeaways, restaurants, or cafes have scored the lowest hygiene rating of zero-out-of-five.
