WILLOWBROOK Hospice's annual event to remember lost loved ones will take place in Church for the first time since the pandemic.
Following virtual Light Up A Life services during the pandemic, Willowbrook is looking forward to welcoming supporters back to a traditional in-person celebration.
The Light Up A Life celebration provides people with a chance to remember and celebrate the lives of their loved ones by lighting a candle during the service and having a moment of reflection as a family and as a community.

Taking place at St Mary's Lowe House on Tuesday, December 13, and Prescot Parish Church on Wednesday, December 14, there is planned to be a mixture of festive song and readings and an opportunity to view the Book of Honour.
After the difficulties of past lockdowns, the service was held virtually in 2020 and 2021, which also included a more traditional service taking place at St Helens Town Hall.
Alun Owen, Corporate Director of Willowbrook Hospice said “Christmas is a time when we think about our family and friends, past and present. Our Light Up A Life Service offers the local community a chance to remember and celebrate the lives of their loved ones.
This year will be the first time since 2019 that we are holding our services back in Church and we are looking forward to gathering together for a moment of reflection.
The donations we receive with the dedications means that patients and their families will continue to receive the very best care.”
Residents are asked to donate to Willowbrook Hospice to enable them to continue their end-of-life care for families in the community.
