A WOMAN who fell in love with an intense and uplifting workout has decided to bring the "first of its kind" fitness class to St Helens.
Helping people to "jump into their new year's resolution", Liz Smith, from Eccleston, is starting a new ((BOUNCE)) fitness class in January.
Founded in 2014, ((BOUNCE)) is the "world's leading mini trampoline fitness brand" that gets people jumping and moving in high-tempo sessions.

Liz, a public sector worker who also runs a Latin Dance class in St Helens, said she fell in love with the bounce sessions and has made it her mission to bring them to her hometown.
Liz said: "Bounce classes are basically fitness sessions that can feel like a night out.
"They are a high-intensity workout on mini trampolines, jumping to iconic dance tracks to get people moving. They have been very popular down south.
"I'm very into my fitness so it's been a bit of a dream of mine to run my own classes and share the fitness sessions that I love in St Helens."
With the classes structured as a 40-minute bounce followed by a 20-minute toning workout, Liz said the physical and mental health benefits of ((BOUNCE)) is remarkable.
She added: "The classes have such a positive impact because you're moving around so much and can have a rapid weight loss.
"But there's also the social connection with everybody having a good time and bouncing to the music."
With the classes designed for everyone to go at their own pace, including children, Liz said they will be kept affordable in the current climate at £6.50 a session.
Helping people to shake off the new year blues, the ((BOUNCE)) sessions will take place at De La Salle school from Wednesday, January 4.
There are then hopes to expand the fitness sessions into Rainhill and Newton-le-Willows.
