TRAINS travelling through St Helens have been delayed or cancelled due to a points failure this morning.
The fault has affected services between Huyton and Wigan North Western.
Trains have been cancelled or delayed this morning, Thursday.

Northern says lines have since been reopened, with delays of up to 15 minutes on services.
This is affecting services on the line calling at Prescot, Eccleston Park, Thatto Heath, St Helens Central and Garswood.
