A THIEF who failed to attend probation appointments has had the operational period of their suspended sentence extended.

Lisa Jane Elizabeth Slevin, of Dorothy Street, Thatto Heath, appeared back at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on November 15.

Slevin, 40, was given a sentence of 12 weeks imprisonment, suspended for 12 months by the court in June this year.

The suspended sentence has been extended to a period of 18 months after Slevin admitted to a breach of the suspended sentence order.

The 40-year-old failed to attend probation appointments on August 18 and 25 as instructed.
