A POLICE cordon is in place after a man was attacked in the street this morning.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the assault on Friday morning, December 2.
At around 9.40am officers on patrol spotted two men attacking another man on Fleet Lane, off Parr Stocks Road.

The victim suffered injuries to his face and a parked vehicle was damaged on the road.
Two men, aged 31 and 23, from Clock Face and Haydock, were arrested on suspicion of assault.
They were taken to a police station where they remain in custody.
A police cordon has been put in place in the area of nearby Gaskell Street whilst officers continue forensic examinations and CCTV inquiries.
