CORONATION Street actor Jude Riordan received an overwhelming response from his fans after sharing pictures of the special moments when his dad directed his scenes at work.
The St Helens actor, who plays Nick Tilsley's son Sam Blakeman in the ITV soap, shared a series of pictures on Instagram.
Jude revealed he wouldn't let feeling unwell keep him away from the set where his dad, Paul Riordan, was working on some scenes for the soap.
The scenes featured his son and his on-screen family.
As previously reported by the Star, Paul has had a successful career as a television director, with credits in Hollyoaks, Emmerdale and Casualty.
Jude posted a photo of himself in character on set, writing: "When you haven't been well but can't miss your first Corrie scene directed by yer Dad @paulrio27."
Jude, a National Television Awards winner and Pride of St Helens Arts Ward winner last year, received a huge response from his fans, with more 12,000 people liking the post.
