POLICE say a woman who was arrested on suspicion of drug driving has been released under investigation.
Officers stopped a suspect on Hard Lane on Sunday, November 20, after noting she was not wearing a seatbelt.
Police say the suspect tested positive for cannabis on a roadside testing device.
A 32-year-old woman from St Helens was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
She has been released under investigation, a spokesman said.

The Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We can confirm we arrested a woman on suspicion of drug driving in St Helens on Sunday, November 20.
"At around 10pm, officers stopped a car on Hard Lane and the driver tested positive for cannabis after officers used a drug detection kit.
"A 32-year-old woman from St Helens was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and released under investigation."
