THERE were some spectacular sights in St Helens this week - all caught on camera by members of St Helens Star Camera Club.

Linda Howell was in Victoria Park for sunrise, Carl Doward spotted a colourful goldfinch and Sue Atherton captured silver birches shining in the moonlight.

The Camera Club is a supportive and friendly group of amateur and professional photographers and as well as submitting photos taken recently, members also take part in regular themed challenges.

You can join 686 others in our camera club on Facebook at facebook.com/groups/sthelensstarcameraclub
