A GYM which is undergoing a refurbishment has issued a statement after a fire outside its premises, which is suspected to have been started deliberately.
Emergency services attended the blaze on Boundary Road last night, Thursday, at around 11pm.
The fire was near the former Xercise4Less gym premises, which has been set for a rebrand as JD Gyms, and Farmfoods which is also undergoing a renovation.

Police are appealing for information and say no-one was injured in the blaze, which was extinguished by firefighters.
JD Gyms St Helens issued a statement to confirm that the blaze will not affect its reopening plans.
The gym still expects to be up and running before the end of 2022.
In a statement on Facebook JD Gyms St Helens said: "JD Gyms St Helens is LIT....literally!
"You might have heard there was a fire at our St Helens gym last night. (suspected arson ) But don’t worry... thankfully it was quickly contained, no one was hurt and the damage is limited. Phew!!
