A DRIVER and passenger have been injured in a crash this afternoon.
Two cars were involved in a collision on Milverny Way, at Carrington Roundabout, near the St Helens Linkway.
The crash, which involved a Nissan L Grand and Vauxhall Mariva, happened shortly before 2pm.
The driver and passener in the Nissan suffered "minor injuries", police said.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "At around 1.50pm today (Thursday, November 24) we received a report of a collision on Milverny Way in St Helens involving a pearl-coloured Nissan L Grand and a blue Vauxhall Mariva.
"The driver and passenger inside the Nissan L Grand sustained minor injuries after the incident.
"The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene.
"No further injuries or road closures were reported."
