Trains are disrupted
TRAIN lines have been blocked due to a fault with the signalling system between Lea Green and Liverpool Lime Street.
Services are being disrupted this afternoon, Thursday.
It is affecting trains travelling through Lea Green, St Helens Junction, Newton-le-Willows, Earlestown, Rainhill and Whiston.
Northern said: "Trains running to and from these stations may be cancelled delayed by up to 30 minutes".
