A FACILITY which offers a nurturing and friendly environment to young adults with special and additional needs has taken up home in the former Rockware pub.
Ever Evolving has previously been based in Bold Miners in a room offering social day-care provision, as well as learning and social opportunities for young adults with additional needs.
The business now has totally transformed the former pub on Shaw Street complete with a big open free space area with TVs, a pool table and stage, another room with a full kitchen and dining space, a sensory room/hair dressing room and adapted changing and bathrooms for all.
Marie Cunliffe, the director of Ever Evolving said: “We were looking for something that had to tick so many boxes and on the face of it here needed a lot of work, but it’s given us exactly what we needed.
“It’s centrally placed, in the right area with a park nearby and the train station and not far to walk into town either.
“We have 63 service users who come in the week and this is perfect for their needs, there are quiet spaces, open communal places and more and we are so lucky to have here, it’s the perfect home for us.”
