A WOMAN has died in Liverpool city centre after she reportedly fell from a car park.
At around 1.30am on Wednesday, November 23 Merseyside Police attended the incident at Queen’s Square Q Park.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene after she reportedly fell from the car park.
Police have confirmed that the woman’s next of kin have been informed and that enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
The incident is believed to not be suspicious at this time.
The car park remains closed while the investigation continues and people are being urged to avoid the area.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm that officers are currently at Queen Square in Liverpool this morning, Wednesday 23 November, following the death of a woman.
“The woman reportedly fell from the Q Park car park around 1am. She was sadly pronounced deceased at around 1.30am.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and the woman’s next of kin have been informed. Emergency services remain in the area to establish the full circumstances of this incident, which is not initially believed to be suspicious.
"The car park is currently closed and motorists are advised to avoid the area. Thank you for your patience as we deal with this incident."
