BRITAIN'S Got Talent star Jamie Leahey was recognised with the Arts Award at the Pride of St Helens Awards last week.
Highlighting the very best of St Helens, the ceremony took place at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday, November 18.
Taking to the BGT stage with his trusted sidekick Chuck, Jamie dazzled judges and audiences with his chirpy ventriloquist act and received standing ovations for his performances.

With Jamie proudly declaring he comes from St Helens, his performances were widely shared and celebrated by the local community, while judge Amanda Holden told him he has a bright "future ahead of him".
After coming runners-up in the nationwide talent competition, Jamie has taken his pal Chuck on a series of exciting adventures, including appearances on CBBC and in pantomimes up and down the country.
Following his Arts Award win at the Totally Wicked Stadium, the Rainford High student said it's "crazy" to reflect on the whirlwind year he has had.
Jamie said: "It feels amazing to win this award and it's been such a crazy year.
"Last year, I was just Jamie who loved acting with dreams about being on stage and performing, and now I'm here accepting an award for it all.
"It's really nice to see that everyone in St Helens has continued to support me."
Jamie's dad Pete and mum Marie, added: "It's so surreal to see all of the success Jamie is having, especially as we are just an ordinary, hardworking family.
"We're so proud of him, as we are with our other kids, but he deserves it as he really worked hard to perfect his performances."
After taking Chuck on stage across the country, Jamie has even more exciting performances planned locally, nationally, and potentially internationally.
Singer Jack Bennett and band the K's were highly commended by judges.
