ST HELENS has been sending messages of congratulations to darts player Michael Smith after he won his first major tournament in the Grand Slam last night.
The Clock Face thrower defeated Nathan Aspinall 16-5 in a dominant perforfance in Wolverhampton to claim his first major title in his ninth final appearance.
The Bully Boy's delight and relief were on show after he hit double top to cap off the win, throwing himself to the ground with his face in his hands.
