MARVEL’S latest mini-series – partly filmed in St Helens – is set to air in spring next year.
The series stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos—characters who first met in Captain Marvel.
They are joined by Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emilia Clarke, and Olivia Colman.
In February this year, filming for some of the series took place on industrial land in St Helens owned by glassmaker Pilkington at Ravenhead, near to the Watson Street site.
There was also a large set up of trailers at the rear car park of Saints' stadium - a short distance from where filming took place.
A statement on the Disney+ website reads: "The crossover comic event series showcases a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years."
Meanwhile the Marvel.com website verifies the series will air in Spring 2023.
