A GAMES night is taking place this weekend as part of an art festival.
The Book Stop in St Helens will have a one-off opening on Sunday to host the games night with arts organisation Heart of Glass.
The event is part of the Takeover Festival 2022 which runs from October 28 to November 13.
World of Work, a game designed by artist Michelle Browne and students at St Helens College, is predicted to "get people thinking" and help them become "politically aware."
The board game will see players work together to combat the societal changes that play a role in reducing jobs available in a town similar to St Helens.
Participants will work together to think of methods to improve the lives of those who live in the town.

Nik Lowe, store manager, said: "We’re delighted to work with Heart of Glass on another project and it’s something a little bit different from us, so hopefully if this proves to be successful it might be something that we could consider doing going forward.
"It also embraces the aspects of the community hub which we’re trying to establish and develop, so it ticks all the boxes for us."
The book shop event will take place tomorrow at 6pm.
