POLICE are investigating a report that a bus collided with a parked car and was then driven off from the scene.
Officers received a report of the alleged "fail to stop collision" in Haydock last week on Wednesday evening, October 26.
The collision reportedly involved an Arriva bus and a parked Volkswagen Passat.
It is understood the incident is alleged to have taken place on Clipsley Lane at around 6.30pm.
Damage was caused in the collision, police say.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We can confirm that inquiries are ongoing following an allegation of a fail to a stop collision in Haydock last week.
"On (Wednesday) October 26, a report was received of damage being caused following a collision involving an Arriva bus and a parked VW Passat.
"The bus reportedly drove off. The incident is believed to have happened at around 6.30pm and was reported later."
He added: "Inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances and anyone who witnessed the collision can contact @MerPolCC with reference 22000788327."
A spokesman for Arriva said: "We are aware of the incident which is currently being investigated and details have been passed to our insurance team who will follow up with the third party."
