EMERGENCY services were called after a crash on the M62 this morning, Monday.
The collision happened on the M62 westbound between Junction eight (Burtonwood) and Junction seven (Rainhill Stoops).
Two lanes were closed due to the collision.

Police attended the scene this morning.
There were delays of around 30 minutes caused and slow traffic queues for approximately four miles.
The lanes have since been reopened.
A North West Ambulance spokesman confirmed they took a call at 9.46am to reports of "a two-vehicle RTC (road traffic collision) between Junction eight and Junction seven on the M62".
However, the ambulance was not required to send any resources to the scene, he added.
